Eric Cantor

110318_eric_cantor_ap_328Former House of Representative Majority Leader Eric Cantor began his career in public service in the Virginia House of Delegates, where he served from 1992 until 2001. Elected to the House of Representatives from the 7th Congressional District in 2000, Congressman Cantor served seven terms, eventually being elected to serve as Minority Whip by his peers.

When Republicans won control of the House in 2010, he was chosen to serve as Majority Leader until 2014. Following his time in Congress, he serves has vice chairman of investment firm Moelis & Co.
